Cells as the Structural unit of all living organisms:

The Components of the Cell Theory:

Cell Theory

  1. All living things are made of cells
  2. Cells are the smallest working units of all living things
  3. They are the structural and functional unit of life
  4. All cells come from pre-existing cells through cell division

The cell is the most BASIC unit of life, meaning it is the smallest, microscopic structural unit capable of using energy to sustain itself in a highly organised fashion. The cell is alive, however it’s organelles are not. (REFER MRS GREN)
